Free in-store returns

Return your items free at any Myer location around Australia. If your return is due to change of mind then just make sure you present in store with proof of purchase (within 30 days from purchase) and that your item meets the return conditions located here.



Please choose carefully when purchasing merchandise designated as clearance in store and online, as change of mind returns will not be accepted. Subject to availability, an exchange for an identical item (same style, model etc) may be provided.



Our policy including the change of mind limits do not exclude or replace your rights under Consumer Guarantees of the Australian Consumer law, regulations or otherwise as required by law.

Return by mail with ParcelPoint

We’ve partnered with ParcelPoint to make returning online orders even easier. Choose from more than 1,300 drop-off locations, open seven days a week.


To return with ParcelPoint, make sure your item:

  • Was purchased on myer.com.au
  • Meet the below returns conditions (unless the product does not meet the consumer guarantees)
  • Maximum size is 120cm cubic dimensions (adding together the length, width and height). Which is about the size limit of airline carry-on luggage. Maximum weight is 10kg.

$6.95 fee applies for Parcelpoint Drop-off (Cheapest Option) ; courier pickup costs extra. See Parcelpoint for details.

What can I return or exchange and when?

If you change your mind on an item, you can return it for an exchange or refund. Please see returns policy here for further details and return conditions. The change of mind policy does not impact your rights under the Australian Consumer Law and Regulations.


Please note all return items are reviewed upon processing to ensure they meet the return conditions listed in the policy. Goods that do not match return conditions will be returned to the customer.

EXCHANGES

How do I exchange an item?

Easy in-store exchange

Whether you bought it online or in-store, you can bring your item in-store to exchange it. For online orders, we will need to issue you a refund back to your original method of payment via our online returns system. You can then re-purchase an alternative size, colour or item in-store.



Online exchange

You can exchange your item for one of a different size or colour by sending it back and requesting an exchange. There will, however, be extra shipping and handling fees. If the item you’re exchanging it for is of a higher value, you will also be charged the difference.

Can I return or exchange an item I bought online? If your return is due to change of mind, you can return an item for a refund or exchange if it meets our returns conditions. Note that the returns conditions do not apply if the product does not meet the consumer guarantees as laid down by the Australian Consumer Law. To return or exchange an item, please make sure you have satisfactory proof of purchase like a tax invoice.



How do I return an item? It’s free to return your item to one of our 60-plus stores. If you’d like to return it by post, you can use ParcelPoint for a national flat rate of $6.95 (unless it’s a Big and Bulky item). Change of mind exchanges and returns do not apply to big and bulky items.



How long do I have to return an item?  The exchange or refund is sought within 30 days of purchase date.



Can I exchange an item in-store? Whether you bought it online or in-store, you can bring your item in-store to exchange it.



Can I exchange an item online? If it’s still in stock, you can exchange your item with one of a different colour or size. Contact our Customer Service Centre on 13 69 37 to have them assist you with exchanging your item. There will, however, be extra shipping and handling fees.


If you’re exchanging it for a different item, your exchange will be processed as a return and you’ll be charged or refunded the difference.



Are any items excluded from the returns policy?

Yes, the returns policy is applicable to change of mind returns and consequently there are exclusions. Exclusions can be found here – Returns Policy.

What is a Myer returns card?

A Myer returns card is given when a customer has paid with a rewards or gift card and can’t receive a cash refund or a different credit card is presented to the one used to pay. They work a bit like a gift card and are subject to an expiry date.
